Hi everyone! This year we are hosting the symposium in State College Pennsylvania at the US Army reserve training center in Bellafonte PA.
We invite all law enforcement officers from every aspect of policing from patrol, investigation, SRO’s, Sheriffs, Troopers and Community Officers to register for our annual symposium where you will gain valuable knowledge, insights and build relationships for networking in to the future.

Breakfast included and is served hot each morning at the Country Inn & Suites Hotel for attendees if you have booked a room. Lantern Rescue is a U.S. based 501c3 non-profit organization that exists to liberate victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Korrin Moon and her team train and educate on things like digital evidence techniques and strategies for supporting victims throughout the judicial process—with remote video testimony, for example, rather than forcing the victims to face their abuser in court.
We work domestically and internationally to combat human trafficking through a unique approach centered on partnering with and mentoring local law enforcement in each region we serve. A U.S. Marine Veteran and a 2023 alumna of Penn State Law in University Park. Moon is using her juris doctor (J.D.) degree to further her efforts to fight human trafficking abroad and in the United States. That work includes Lantern Rescue, a nonprofit that Moon co-founded prior to starting law school, as well as a position with the District Attorney’s (DA) Office in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, where she serves as a special prosecutor focusing on human trafficking and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Encouraging students to rise up against bullies, Joe shares a bit about his experiences with bullies while providing students with useful tips on how to address various situations. He includes some backstory about the build of Optimus, the struggles with those who doubted or bullied him, and his own personal goal to inspire his son by rising up to anyone who didn't believe in him. Law Enforcement will learn how to partner with Joe & Optimus Prime!
First Responder Therapy Dogs is an organization that addresses the mental health needs of first responders by providing emotional support through trained therapy dogs. These dedicated teams, consisting of a handler and a dog, offer instant emotional support to on-duty first responders. The program operates in 37 states, including Pennsylvania1. Being on the front lines can be both physically and mentally challenging for these everyday heroes, and First Responder Therapy Dogs aims to provide this vital service without the stigma often associated with seeking help.
